The Journal of Global Perspectives in Communication and Media (JGPCM) is a new, triannual open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarship across the dynamic fields of communication, including digital/media studies, mass communication, journalism, and related disciplines. Published through a collaboration of communication scholars from leading institutions in the U.S. and Nigeria, JGPCM champions open access to high-quality, peer-reviewed research, eliminating traditional financial barriers and expanding the reach of academic contributions worldwide.

Our journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process involving both academics and field professionals, ensuring that all submissions are evaluated fairly and constructively. JGPCM also integrates multidisciplinary large language models (LLMs) to provide authors with detailed and insightful feedback. This innovative approach helps authors refine their work, making JGPCM not only a venue for publication but also a valuable part of their scholarly development.
